1. The service
Testimonial Collector helps freelancers request, collect, verify, and reuse client testimonials. You get an account and workspace; your clients interact through private links without creating accounts.
2. Honest use only
The point of this product is authenticity. You may not fabricate testimonials, impersonate clients, submit testimonials on a client’s behalf, misrepresent who a testimonial came from, or use the verification badge for content that did not pass through the verification flow. We may remove content and terminate accounts that abuse this.
3. Consent is binding
You may only use a testimonial in the ways the client consented to. If a client withdraws consent, you must stop using their testimonial. The app enforces this where it can (public pages, asset generation), but the obligation follows you wherever you paste the text.
4. Your content and your clients’ content
You retain rights to your profile content; clients retain rights to their words. You grant us the license needed to store, process (including AI polishing and transcription), and display this content according to the consents given. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to add your clients’ contact details.
5. The directory and public pages
Portfolios and directory listings are opt-in. We may de-list profiles that are reported and found to violate these terms. Public verification pages show only consented information.
6. Availability and changes
The service is provided as-is, without warranty. We work to keep it available and your data safe, but we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or lost business opportunities. We may update features and these terms; material changes will be announced.
7. Termination
You can stop using the service and request deletion of your workspace at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.
